Worth writing about
- A number looks wrong. This is the most useful message you can send. Include what you entered and what you expected — the figures stay in your browser, so I cannot see them unless you tell me.
- A dish is missing. The party planner’s dish list is the part that improves with use. If you cooked for forty people and had to guess at something, that is a gap worth filling.
- The schedule ran late or early for you. Include your kitchen temperature, your inoculation and roughly how far off it was. Enough of those and the model gets better.
- Something is unclear. If a label sent you to the wrong figure, that is a defect in the tool, not in you.
What I cannot help with
I cannot troubleshoot a specific loaf from a photograph, revive a starter, plan your wedding catering, or tell you whether something in your fridge is still safe to serve. For the last one in particular, use published food safety guidance rather than a stranger with a website.
Bakers, caterers and cooking teachers
You are welcome to use these tools with students and clients, and several of you already do. I do not sell advertising placements, sponsored dishes or affiliate positions, so please do not ask. Corrections with a reason behind them are always welcome.
